Bright Silver ELFIT 73 is an electrolyte designed for producing bright, deluxe, haze-free silver deposits on polished surfaces. The deposited silver exhibits a pleasant, light silver color, and full brightness is achieved even with very thin deposits. The electrolyte boasts exceptional bright throwing power.

Applications:

• Base Metals: Suitable for depositing bright, deluxe, haze-free silver coatings on copper, brass, German silver, and intermediate layers from bright nickel electrolytes.

• Industries: Primarily used in the electro- and electronic industries. Compatible with both rack and barrel systems.

Properties:

• Electrical Resistance: The initial electrical resistance of newly deposited silver from the Bright Silver ELFIT 73 process is 1.88 μΩ x cm. It may increase slightly during storage, approaching the value of silver processed from melt flow.

• Conductivity: Deposits obtained from Bright Silver ELFIT 73 have a conductivity equivalent to pure silver.

• Hardness: New deposit layers have a hardness of approximately 120 HV0.05. After storage or tempering, the hardness may decrease to around 80 HV0.05, especially when using older electrolytes
